Recognized for its history and Southern hospitality, the “Magic City” holds a treasure of distinctive characteristics beyond its famous and renowned landmarks.

1. Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
2. Birmingham Civil Rights Institute
3. Vulcan Park and Museum
4. Birmingham Botanical Gardens
5. Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark
6. Birmingham Museum of Art
7. Southern Museum of Flight
8. 16th Street Baptist Church
9. Birmingham Zoo
10. Birmingham Museum of Art
Police Fleet Expo 2025 (August 18-21) will, once again, bring together and connect the largest group of Police Fleet Professionals…with vehicle manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of the only Expo that is exclusive to all aspects of police fleet management. This year’s training and trade show will take place at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC), an incredible entertainment, sports and convention complex in the heart of Birmingham, known as Alabama’s Entertainment District.
DriveX: Barber Motorsports Park
DriveX, the ride and drive portion of Police Fleet Expo, kicks off the Expo (on Monday), at the iconic Barber Motorsports Park…an 880-acre, multi-purpose racing facility…home to a 2.38-mile (3.83 km), 16-turn road course (and only 25 minutes from the Host Hotel).
The vehicle off-road course (at Barber) consists of approximately seven miles of trails adjoining the Barber Proving Ground. It can be configured into different layouts and is also multi-directional. The trails have varying terrain and provide moderate-to-extreme elevation conditions. Natural features complement the beautiful setting along with water, rock, and bridge crossings that have been incorporated into the trail system.
“Vendor Village” is back this year with several police vehicle equipment manufacturers displaying their latest equipment. Attendees have the opportunity to stop by each vendor and see products installed on an actual vehicle and get a feel for exactly how the equipment works, installs and functions.
Get behind the wheel of the latest SUV's, sedans and EV's from Dodge Law, Ford Pro and GM Envolve as well as other types of vehicles to round-out your fleet, including motorcycles and more.
While you are in Birmingham, make a trek out to the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum, which has been named “World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum” by the Guinness World Records.
The Park, which opened in 2003, has hosted numerous motorsport races including Grand-Am, Pirelli World Challenge, Vintage Racing Series events, AMA SuperBike and the IndyCar Series.
Barber serves as the home of the North American Porsche Driving School, along with various track day events. It is also home to the newly built “Barber Proving Grounds”, which includes a new track area and wet/dry skid pad that will accommodate additional events while the existing track is in use. Mercedes-Benz hosts the Mercedes Brand Immersion Experience for its employees at the Proving Grounds, and others use the grounds to test and demonstrate vehicle capabilities, host product debuts, and provide safety instruction. Barber is noted for its landscaping and greenery and the track has been referred to as “The Augusta National of Motorsports.”
